Learn, Play and Grow, in Easton from 6 weeks to 17 years.

Quality care in a safe, healthy environment.

How we see children

This center believes that every child is capable of learning and growing through play and interaction. Teachers help children explore their world with curiosity and confidence. They create spaces where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to try new things. The focus is on helping children build skills that last a lifetime, like communication, problem-solving, and cooperation.

Rooms are set up with learning areas that encourage exploration, creativity, and independence. Children move through the day with a balance of play, rest, and guided activities. Teachers work in small groups to support each child's interests and needs. Outdoor time is included every day, and meals are served in a calm, shared space where children learn about healthy eating.

Visitors often notice how teachers know each child by name and how they respond to them with care. The spaces are arranged so that children can move freely and choose what they want to do. Teachers are always nearby, ready to help or join in.

What a day looks like

A morning starts with a warm greeting from the teacher. Children settle in with a comfort item or a book they brought from home. They might play with blocks or look at picture books while the teacher talks to them. This helps them feel calm and ready for the day ahead.

Children spend time playing, learning in small groups, and eating meals together. There is time for rest, usually in a quiet area with soft lighting. Outdoor play is a big part of the day, with time for climbing, running, and exploring nature.

As the day ends, children clean up and prepare for pickup. Teachers share what they did and how they felt. Parents hear about their child's day and can ask questions. The teachers are ready to talk about what happened and how the child did.

How we work with families

At pickup, parents hear about their child's day and what they did. Teachers are ready to answer questions and share observations. Parents can talk about how their child is feeling and what they need next.

The first weeks are handled with care, giving the child and family time to adjust. Teachers work with parents to make the transition smooth and supportive. They offer guidance and are always available to talk.

Good questions to ask first

What ages do you take?

Children from 6 weeks to 17 years.

Can we visit before deciding?

Families can bring their child on a tour to see the space and meet the staff. Children can explore the rooms and watch other children playing while parents talk with teachers about the program.

What should my child bring on the first day?

Families usually bring a change of clothes, a comfort item like a blanket or toy, and items that are clearly labelled with the child's name. It's also helpful to bring any special items that help the child feel at home.

Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?

Schedules depend on the age group and the availability of spaces. Families should ask about the options that fit their needs and the times that work best for their child.

What if there is no place right now?

Families can ask to be told when a place opens for their child's age. The center will share information about availability when it becomes known, but no specific dates can be given in advance.
